  Powering and charging handy board
 
Hello. Several questions. What is the best way to charge the board? Through charger board or to teh board directly.   Shorted Handyboard
 
Finishing mounting our handyboard to the chasis of our robot, we shorted the board. A screwdriver made contact near the IR reciever on the bottom right corner of the board.   Does the HB NEED 9.6 volts?
 
I am planning on using stepper motors with a handy board, which hopefully I will have in a week :) The specs on the HB say it uses 9.6 volts. (...) I had exactly the same problem. There is a CMOS chip by Motorola called the MC14028B that is a BCD-to-decimal or Binary-to-octal decoder. Hi everyone. I use a 4 bits binary counter to measure the no. of pulses emitted from a shaft encoder(TTL output) in order to calulate the speed of a DC motor. Hi, I'm using a L293E to drive my motors. Each driver has a "sense" output and I don't understand the use of it. How can I use those outputs with the Handy-Board ? Thanks for any help, ......... Hi I built a small circular robot base with differential steering using 3" diameter rubber wheels and optical encoders on both wheels. I have those docs. I knew that it was driven by the hd44780 but the summary page on their web site indicated that the 44780 could drive 2 lines of 8 characters and I assumed there must be a micro on the board to handle the 2x16 and that there might (...) Hello, I just loaded adobe acrobat reader, what do I need to do to read the manual for the handyboard? Can I download it and read it off line? Do I have to somehow open adobe? while online? HELP!!!!!
