Hi, well that's a cooncidence. I'm working on a project witch multiple nodes via RS-232 also. We use a philips microcontroller(well 3 actually), but that doesn't matter for the RS-232 communication. (...) NiMh batteries do not have a memory but they do discharge faster when sitting unplugged. In my Thinkpad 750 (for which I have one NiCd and two NiMh batteries) the NiCd looses < 5% of its charge overnight and the NiMh batteries loose around 15% (...) (...) Well, that is one of the great benefits of NiMH batteries is that they can be charged without ever having to completely cycle them.
