NiMh batteries do not have a memory but they do discharge faster when
sitting
unplugged. In my Thinkpad 750 (for which I have one NiCd and two NiMh
batteries)
the NiCd looses < 5% of its charge overnight and the NiMh batteries
loose around
15% per night.  YMMV
