Re: Vector2x SPI interrupt driven code

(...) I had troubles with the V2X within 2 inches of some small hobby motors. Lotsa magnet there, but larger motors have more magnet. The calibration is supposed to adjust for "hard iron" disturbances, so just having it bolted to your robot with (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Help! - Strange Bug.

(...) Do you recall ever feeling a static electricity shock when you went to press the start button in the past? The bug has all of the earmarks of a static damaged part. If other programs still work then it is probably U5 (the 74HC244) try (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Vector2x SPI interrupt driven code

Hey Tom How close is too close? How far away do you have it? Any problems with just pieces of metal, like casters or maybe a gel cel holder. (hint hint) Sounds like a pretty nifty little device. Just wondering if my setup would allow me to use it (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Help! - Strange Bug.

Hi All, I have recently completed construction of a Handyboard which passed all it's initial tests with the downloader, pcode and hbtest.c program, thanks to some help from Fred Martin, and I am now enjoying writting some programs for it. However I (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Handy Board Assembly

Good morning. I am building a handy board for the first time using the Douglas Electronics boards and parts from various sources. I have been following the assembly instructions with great success up to now: I'm stuck at the end of section 4.4, (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Printed Layouts

Hello, I want to etch the Handyboard myself (because it's hard to get it here in Germany) and so I am searching for printed circuit board layouts from the Handyboard and the Interface/charger and a part listing (if possible in Germaan). Thank you in (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Serial port and Handyboard.

Hi again. I'm wondering if anyone had an example of using the serial interface on the handyboard to recieve signals from the mac/pc, and processing them ? This is essential for my project, as i'm trying to interface it with the httpd on the (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Servo trouble solved!

Hi again. Sorry for troubling you with that mail earlier, I finaly figured out what was wrong. I did not have COMMON ground between the two separate powersupplys, and that created the big mess..:( But i'm still interrested in some programs that i (...)   Servos again.

Hi. I'm still having problems with my servos and the board. I got the servos connected to the port 9 and the fourth port from the right on the handyboards expansion bus.   Re: IR collision avoidance

(...) Someone could probably give some very good reasons why 45 degrees is a good choice. For me it was common sense and experiment. Less than 45 degrees from ahead and the angle the IR is hitting the wall is too "shallow" and I don't get a return. (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  567 design help needed

I am designing a circuit that requires a 567 tone decoder to detect a 500hz signal and I need some help.   Re: Vector2x SPI interrupt driven code

Not sure who you are? tomb? Anyways, I noticed mention of a compass.... I once looked into the idea of using a flux gate compass to obtain heading info.   Vector2x SPI interrupt driven code

Well it works. A couple people have asked for it. Turns out the stupid V2X docs are wrong again! Like the product, but bad docs will kill it! Even if you don't have a V2X, I have seen enough traffic asking about using the SPI for things on the HB, (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Don't those tend to have swapped conductors too? I thought that the receiver cords were slightly different from the other cords. You might have to crimp new connectors on the end. -Jeremy (...) ___...___ Jeremy Green jag@world.std.com (...) (28 years ago, 5-Mar-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
