This is a short response to Fred's message. There have indeed been problems in the past, this is one of the reasons why I am quiting as soon as I am out of debt. (...) Sorry to have disturbed so many people but i finaly found the solution: my adapter war rated 1000 mA ..... and so it never give a voltage over 13 ... I was wondering if using a 7.2 volt battery instead of the recommended 9.6 volt battery would require and HB modifications? A 7.2 volt pack rated at 1200 ma.hours can be bought for the same price as a 9.6 volt pack rated at 600 ma.hours. Shouldn't (...) (29 years ago, 5-Mar-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

(...) There isn't much on the internet, and as far as I know precision navigation isn't on the internet. They have a goofey faxback line, you can get the manual for the thing that way. (...) are you sure you have enough voltage on the adapter? You need at least 16- 18 v open circuit, or an adapter rated for 12 volts at 500 mA. Hi, I've got a little problem ... When I connect the DC adaptor to the interface board (which is connected to the HB which is OFF) after a while the yellow led of the Intf Board get dimmmer and dimmer ... it light off .. One of the things that has always perplexed me about Interactive C is the lack of a software support site. It seems that with all of the people using it to write programs for their robots, surely someone would have started collecting/distributing (...) David, I believe that IC never actually supported zero page variables; it was documented as a feature but never implemented.
