thanks to all those who requested information, I have decided to post it
here rather than send out 30+ email messages.

This is a beta test of an IR transmitter board for the HB or any other
use.

The board is about 1 in square, either round or square in shape.  It has
9 IR leds and one visible led.  The IR leds are arranged in a circle for
360 deg. coverage.  The board will consume 150 ma running, but can be
lowered.  The PCB is doubled sided with plated through holes.  A power
cable is provided to hook up to the HB or whatever it is used for.

The price will be $12.00.  Please send an email order.
Information follows.  I order parts in 2 weeks.

Please use either method to get more information.  I have mid terms and
will not be able to answer questions. There is a program as part of the
documentation that will allow you to email the order back, the CC # is
encoded against casual lookers getting at it.

  Response to Fred's note..

NEW! - Handyboard Hard-to-Get Parts Kit!

CW Technology is now offering a kit of only the "hard to get" parts for the Handyboard 1.2. Basically, the kit includes everything you can't get at DigiKey and Mouser. The price is very competitive if you consider the minimum orders, shipping, etc. (...) (29 years ago, 11-Feb-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
