My cybermaster box has a 27MHZ sticker on it. Did Lego produce cybermasters on different frequencies or is 27MHZ the only one? (25 years ago, 1-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Re: Cybermaster: Cannot receive though sending works (w/o sprit.ocx)

Hi, yeah... me I just went through such trouble using Java. The RTS should be 'false'. Then by experimenting I found switching the DTR before and after sending to have some positive effect. I trust you adhere to + starting a session with 'Alive' (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Cybermaster: Cannot receive though sending works (w/o sprit.ocx)

Hi, I've written a small Visual Basic program so I can use Cybermaster under Windows 3.1x. (So I cannot use spirit.ocx.) Sending commands works (motor on/off, sound, etc.). But I don't get any echo. I cannot get any sensor data, and I can't see if (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.cybermaster, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  Re: cybermaster set-up problems

Jim, I also had problems with the control tower. It was over when I installed a fresh battery. Then I modified the control tower so I could connect an extarnal power-supply. Now it's alway working. regards, Bert J. Giesen Jim Nyby <jnyby@waypt.com> (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Re: Cybermaster ? What and where is it?

(...) Sorry to tell you, but the Cybermaster is only sold in Europe (AFAIK). The used RC tower is not certified for distribution in the US. The model is sold here (in Germany) for around $75 if you accept a slightly damaged case. cu Harald (25 years ago, 3-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Re: Cybermaster ? What and where is it?

(...) The aluminum case is also rather flimsy, mine got a lot of dents just from transporting it on the back of my bike. Jürgen (25 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Re: Cybermaster ? What and where is it?

(...) The case isn't that cool:) There has been a few in aluminum suitcases, but generally it's delivered in cardbox suitcases. But it is a very good set, it can be programmed with many of the same tools as the Mindstorms, as it has many of the same (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

Re: Cybermaster ? What and where is it?

First off, I don't have a cybermaster, but I've stumbled across web pages with information concerning Cybermaster many times and I was seriously thinking of trying to purchase a set.   Cybermaster ? What and where is it?

What exactly is the Cybermaster? I am seeing posts about it but I do not see this in the U.S. Is this a Eurpoean only product similar to the RIS? Is it different in some ways? Thanks (25 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

  Re: cybermaster set-up problems

(...) I doesn't get any simpler than the way you're supposed to do it. Attach the tower to a serial port, install the software, and you're running. Remember to check the battery in the tower, and try to remove it for a couple of secs... Other than (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

  cybermaster set-up problems

Got the Cybermaster for my son and am having trouble with the radio tower connection to the computer. Do I have to configure a Com Port for Windows to accept the new device? Is there a simple way to do this? Thanks, Jim (25 years ago, 30-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

  Re: Software

(...) That's odd, I'm running a US version Windows here with no problems at all with a danish CD, but: Take a look at this tread, and call Lego consumerservice. (URL) Jensen (25 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)

  Software

Does anyone know how I can get the US version of the software for the cybermaster? I bought a set in Germany, and have had problems running the software. It installs, but complains about a missing dll. (25 years ago, 29-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)
