OS-X driver for the Vision Command cam ?

I think this has been asked before, but I don't see any positive replies... Has anyone hacked a Macintosh OS-X driver to support the VC LEGO-cam ?   Announcing new Lego website: The Art of Brick

There is a certain art to certain things. There is an art to painting, an art to cooking, yes, even an art to driving. But, did you know that there just might be an art to brick?   interfacing PCs with LEGO?

Joe I do a lot of "mechtronics" and my philosophy is: Use the PC for doing things that a PC is good at - like the vision and intelligent planning. Use a whole lot of PICs for doing what PICs are good at. Any PIC con only do one time-critcal thing. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Well, it's not the same thing -- I'm talking about applications involving machine vision, for example; a single 640x480 32-bit image is 1200 Kb, which would exceed the entire RAM of most microcontrollers several times over, even assuming you (...) (...) Why would that be impossible? You'd start by building up the sides; when you've done row B, then you can attach the block in row C, followed by the one in row D.
