  Mindstorms book

Hi, I bought Dave Baum's on an impuls and now regret it. I don't know about the o'Reilly book, but this one is especially weak on models. Main reason to buy it would be to learn NQC, but there are more sources for that... Duq (23 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Books

My book was released less than a week ago. Copies are probably just getting to physical bookstores as we speak. I just got a stack (direct from O'Reilly) today. I think Ben's right: buy 'em both. But of course I'm biased. And hey, thanks to whoever (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Book question

(...) I have both books mentioned. I found the "Unofficial Guide to Lego Mindstorms (O'Reilly)" book to be more informative for myself. It talks about quite a few programing languages in enough detail to give you a good idea of what's involved. (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)
