Looks like there will be two sets. From the list of 2000 sets (available at
lugnet.accounce, or go to http://www.lugnet.com, then Announcements):

As I said in an earlier post, the two pictures available for 9736 (Exploration
Mars) in the on-line catalog have no new parts commonalities. I suspect that the
9736 does *not* contain the camera, and that the picture that shows the rover
with the camera requires both 9736 and 9731. Then I can believe a $50 price for
9736 (Exploration Mars).

Interestingly, it is available from Lego Service in Europe, but I couldn't find it at the WorldShop site as of this writing. Looks as though the RCX is built (...) (25 years ago, 5-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
