   I was just looking at this, and realized why the male posts have only partly-exposed connectors. ISTHERE an online description of these connectors and how they work on sensors and actuators??    Thanks, Jonathan && Others... I'll look at the patent. With all the 'clones' out there, is it likely that Lego would complain if someone made compatible-but-not- identical connectors??      On the subject of making connector blocks, I have been very successful with taking the conductor strips you get as a S@H service pack, hacking two squares out, slotting one edge of each of the 2x2s, soldering wires to that side, slotting the inside (...)    OK, I have a pretty good working solution. I used "contact cement": The SOLVENT kind, not the Water Based kind. I did two experiments in attaching .002 inch thick copper foil to the Lego bricks.
