I've seen this thread going, and going, and going; must be pretty
frustrating. It seems like you said at one point that it works fine from a
PC, is that right? If so, don't you have to use a serial adapter to connect
the IR tower to a Mac? And if so, have you verified that that connector
isn't causing the problem? I'd try a different one myself. That's just my
half awake, hung-over 2 cents on it....

| Hallo Will, it can't be the adapter cable which is wrong. With NQC -the very good programming software from Dave Baum- I have no problem to contact the RCX. Downloading the firmware, sending programs, starting programs ... it's okay. Everything (...) (25 years ago, 14-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)
