Guess I only have the second highest: #756734, bought via LEGO Shop At Home in mid-December 2003, as part of the RIS Kit (2.0 plus a few bags of extra parts, a remote, a capacitor for some reason, etc.) Love the product, would love it more if it (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

I wonder how many Mindstorms have been sold? Assuming serial numbers (S/N) are assigned sequentially might give a good indication. I have a RCX 1.0 S/N 022751 purchased when Mindstorms first came out. And I have a a RCX 2.0 (S/N 591822) obtained (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)
