Dah, I Thoufght the origional Idea of the Posting was to get Lego to make these parts!!! So I think the poster of a part Idea, would be estatic if Lego started making them. Your concern has merit. A posting on a news group could most definately be viewed a "prior art" and effectively prevent Lego from receiving a patent on the design. How about a new axle extender? This one would be almost the same but with no ribs on two opposite sides. This would allow a driving ring to slip easily so that a micromotor could be used to actuate it (if you rotated the driving ring 90 degrees you (...)
