  Help! I think I nuked my IR transmitter!
 
Hello All, I'm new to all this so please forgive me if I breach any format or protocal. I'm having some trouble with downloading my Mindstrorms 1.0 RCX. Every time I try a message says IR trans. not working. I tried all the suggestions it gave and (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Usually these circuits are protected against reversed polarity. Does the green light work after the battery was properly installed. Have you succeeded in installing the firmware? Try different settings on the tower switch. Short range and Long (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi, I have a DC motor that provides quadrature encoding feedback. I'm using the 332 with the motor control TPU functions and I was just wondering if anyone has written any code or seen any code that will calculate the speed and direction of the (...) I've put my battery in the IR Tower the wrong way, and it didn't seem to hurt anything. I know it took me a great deal of fiddling in the Control Panel before I got the serial port working correctly on my computer. To be honest, I really don't (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.robotics)
