okay, i guess i am not getting the proper idea across... i do not want a synchro-drive, i'm looking for a solution to the problem of having the back wheels turn opposite from the front wheels thus trimming the turing radius down. now, the drive (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

 | | Axle joiner angles
|

I was looking at the axle joiner thingies that let you connect two axles at an angle. The angles Lego have chosen to supply seem incredibly non-useful (apart from the obvious 180 and 90 degree ones). Each part also has a number on it. Here is a (...) (25 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Yes, I agree that this is an interesting function. I've used the same kind of mechanism in many of my own MOCs, as it allows for tighter turns without the friction you would get with a normal setup. While the CodePilot unit itself is fairly (...) I bought a CodePilot last year when S@H had them on sale for $US100. The LEGO outlet store in Cookstown Ontario is rumored to have a few left. Run out to the local TRU and look for the ZNAP sets in the LEGO section. Some of them have the 9 volt motors (and battery boxes) often for as little as $9.00. Happy hunting! Jeff Jeffrey Hazen North Mill Technology jeffrey.hazen@northmill.net (...) (25 years ago, 11-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Thanks for the flood of email indicating that RCXTCL is broken! My own stupidity kept reloading the cached version, and it was, of course, OK.
