Is there a specific reason to restrict things to a predator/prey relationship?
How about a "sumo wrestling" competition? You could pretty much use the real
sumo wrestling rules. You have a big circle, clearly marked with a black line
(so the lego light sensor can detect it) and the object is to push the other RCX
out of the circle, or knock the other RCX down (in this case maybe flip it over
so it can no longer move?). You would still have the design considerations of
detecting the location of another RCX, keeping track of your own location (i.e.
don't cross the line), and trying to have some sort of attacking/evading
strategy.

However with only three inputs the RCX is pretty limited, Keeeping track of your position, Your Opponents Position and the Lines position is a lot of input. That's why the simple "Touch 'em and they die" (...) (26 years ago, 3-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)

| RCX Quake? uh oh, I've created a monster. If someone can organize a mob I'll bring the Pitchforks and flaming torches for the confrontation outside the castle gates :) It has to be a cycle, otherwise you'd end up with three rocks that just sit there (...)
