Re: How Many Mindstorms Have Been Sold? Or What's the Highest RCX Product Serial Number?

I'm thinking quite few. I maintain an RCX "owners list" at (URL) only have two 1.0 units.   Re: RotationNavigator accuracy

Hi Robert, thanks for your response. Indeed, the main problem seems to be slippage. The more speed the motors produce, the bigger the slippage is and the less is the resulting angle. Probably a tank is bad for odometric navigation. It is a pitty, (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

How Many Mindstorms Have Been Sold? Or What's the Highest RCX Product Serial Number?

I wonder how many Mindstorms have been sold? Assuming serial numbers (S/N) are assigned sequentially might give a good indication. I have a RCX 1.0 S/N 022751 purchased when Mindstorms first came out. And I have a a RCX 2.0 (S/N 591822) obtained (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)
