Re: Yet another Technic 9V motor comparison update

thanx philo it shows this new kind of motor is... pure... weak why it takes 10 times more current giving just 1/4 more rpm than 71427? and why it consumes almost 2 times more current with load? why they use it? i hope there were some cases (not only (...)   Yet another Technic 9V motor comparison update

I have updated my (URL) motor comparison page> You'll find data on the new clear case motor included in (URL) 4094 motor movers set>.   9v Motor Stripdown

Hi, I've got a friend who has a couple of 9v motors that have a broken shaft. I'm not too sure where it's broken but was wanting to know if anyone has a link to a site that has the details on how to strip on of these motors down to repair them? (...)   Re: What are good LEGO robotics challenges?

I have completed Version 0.1 of my list, which means it's just a list of categories. There are no links to any specific projects or details, no graphics, and no special CSS (the stylesheet is the same one I use on my personal site). I just wanted to (...) (...) I got a private email that said this: Jordan, this idea is a good one. and has proved to work in the past. if you have 2 rcx's, then try it. heck you can even experiment with just one RCX for proof of concept. run a wire from the motor out to (...)   Re: Weird RCX electrical ideas

  Re: Weird RCX electrical ideas

(...) Voltage shouldn't be much of a concern, unless the RCX has a transformer to allow it to output higher voltage than the internal batteries can provide. Besides, wiring up a bunch of 9v lights will increase the total voltage needed to make them (...) (22 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  Weird RCX electrical ideas

I'd like to share two thoughts with you all. They involve the RCX and doing things with it that I'm sure the designers never intended (or thought possible).
