How do you time a running process? I would like to prune the running time of a part of my IC program running in the HandyBoard, to improve the response of my sensor testing. I just managed to convert a Cat D10 toy into a robot. In doing so, I've converted the power source for its motors from Alkaline to NiCads. One thing I've noticed is that the NiCads make the robot seem A LOT more powerful. I measured the current (...) (29 years ago, 29-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hi Jeff, The Polaroid sensors work pretty darn well. I've been able to get 1" resolution from 8" to 130"++ (reportedly they work to 35 ft - my room's not big enough to try this out). I was able to get mine working in about 10 minutes. Basically, (...) (29 years ago, 29-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
