Both motors will receive approximately 9 volts. This depends on the batteries you are using. -- Bob Fay (URL) <sailrpengn@suscom.net> wrote in message news:H81u10.AzE@lugnet.com... (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Will the RCX remote control conflict with the IR signals from the Spybotics controller? I don't have a remote control, but I'd like to get one for my RCX so I can build my own style bot to compete with my kids, but I want to make sure my remote will (...) My laptop goes through these things all the time. I wouldn't expect the Xray machine to harm anything in your RCX at all. Especially if it is off. As to whether it looks like it's a bomb, on Xray it'll probably look more like a Walkman. I wouldn't (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)

JB I travel extensively around the US and have carried RCXs and models onboard airplanes for some time. My suggestion would be to carry it on and avoid checking it in and the new scanners. My views on the subject: If you are taking a pre-made MOC, take the whole thing in hand luggage if possible (or mabie just the module with the RCX in it). Show it to the security person specially (just as you might do if you were worried about the (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)
