BricxCC release 3.3.6.5 - BrickOS support

I'm pleased to announce the release of BricxCC version 3.3.6.5. New in this release is initial support for BrickOS using GNU C, C++, and Pascal. These three languages are syntax highlighted. Code Completion is available for language keywords and the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Orthoglide Movie

I received a link to an Orthoglide site. There is a movie of the Orthoglide machine mockup in action. Very impressive. I wish my Lego version had worked so well. The QuickTime movie is 23Meg.   Re: On LEGO Compressors & Pump Testing

(...) I think Soh's previous tests showed that motorizing the large hand "pumps" (compressors) provided no extra benefit over the small pumps. This new test by Charles Steadman (excellent work, BTW) shows that motorizing two large hand pumps can be (...) (23 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Re: On LEGO Compressors & Pump Testing

This is probably my favorite Lego-related website out there. :) Great article there too; I need to try that pressure test sometime. So are the handpumps or the minipumps generally better for compressors? I am currently building a model which uses a (...) (23 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

Re: Looking for Mindstorms promotional materials.

I'd like to follow up with a quick thank-you... Our presentation went very well. We had about 40 people come to the presentation, and it didn't hurt that we had it the same day, time, and place that First Lego League was in town. Special thanks to (...)   lnpd

Hello, I don't get lnpd to work properly on my sytem. It seems impossible to receive lnp packages. It is no problem to send packages via lnpd to the rcx, but from the rcx to the pc doesn't work. The rcx sends the packages though, another rcx is able (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)

On LEGO Compressors & Pump Testing

Hi people, The Pneumatics page has settled nicely at it's new location in Oz-land with no more of those pesky ad windows. And with no bandwidth restrictions it can be updated as often as one likes. thanks! the price is now $18! Going from the original $100 (about) to $18 just goes to show how much Lego is probably making off of its products.... (now if they would only use that money to develop better and newer technic sets!) Timothy (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Another cement mixer......

Hi lego fans, I presented this model in Legoworld 2002, then after a little restailing in some estetics particular, I show you the result. The point is that the only reason parents buy junk like Galidor when there are much cheaper toys that do pretty similar things is that these have "LEGO" written on them - and we have this enduring memory that LEGO==Educational - so it must be (...)
