Thank you for your response, Jürgen! (...) I believe I also have Linux kernel version 2.4.19 (# kernelversion => 2.4), and I tried to use both xawtv and quickcam-tt's testquickcam app. Both responded with that they were unable to open 'video0' (or (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

ok, im back again with even more questions. when i created my last program using lnp on an RCX i did a mistake by setting the same port as the one im listening on and the one im sending on. this made me think. what is the reason we use two different (...) It might be worth trying to increase the area that the light sensor is seeing by putting some kind of a lens in front of it. If the sensor could see (say) a roughly circular region 3 centimeters across then numbers you'd read between the 'white' and (...) (23 years ago, 27-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)
