Hello! I have some questions: - (in the RCX side) How i can configure a message Event in NQC, I don't know the second parameter? SetEvent(My_Event,??..._Message); - (in the PC side to get the messages from the RCX), anybody have a sample code to use (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: Replacement RCX Cost?

You can get an apparently 1.0 w/ adapter port RCX from S@H. It's currently unavailable, but it wasn't a month or two ago. Perhaps it will come back again. (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Voltage Sensor

(...) Wow, thanks Horst. Your last email had 'weekend project' written all over it. Everything was quite straight forward (including the equations) and extremely well presented. I'll keep you posted on how it goes, and if I get stuck, no doubt you (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Voltage Sensor

(...) Hello Nathan, At this stage I am wanting to include this sensor as part of a larger suite of components - Voltage regulator and Trickle charger. Ultimately I want to etch all of these circuits onto a single board and tuck it away in a lego (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Replacement RCX Cost?

(...) I just ordered one 9709 from this store for $69.95 + $8.95 shipping. John Hansen (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Voltage Sensor

(...) Thanks Peter, Yes, it was brought to my attention that the useful portion of a 12V battery is at the top end of the voltage range. I don't think I thought about it to be honest - I guess the learning curve just keeps pointing up at this stage. (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Voltage Sensor

(...) I presume you're using a 12V lead-acid or NiCd battery. As the battery discharges, the output voltage drops, slowly at first but then faster when it gets close to being empty. By the time it reaches, say, 10V, it's time to recharge it. So when (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Handy Board for sale

Hi, forgive me if you already saw this note on the Handy Board Yahoo group. I have a Handy Board that is over two years old I'd like to sell. It has been stored in a project box so it is still in great condition. I just recharged it and downloaded (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Voltage Sensor

Tom, it is possible to also buy ready made voltage sensors for the RCX, see (URL) have used a most of the sensors from this company for data-logging purposes, but have not yet used the voltage sensor. If you would like more info, I can probably try (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Replacement RCX Cost?

Rob's suggestion of calling the LEGO Outlets is the best bet. The Dawsonville, Georgia store has a bunch of the 9709, which is the 1.0 RCX (external jack version) brick only. Last time I picked some up they were around $60. jt (...) (23 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)
