Has anyone figured out how to use the Generate LASM Cmd in Robolab 2.5? Help says: “Simply wire in the lines of text into LASM Cmd and have the Begin and End wires on either side.” But how is that done? I can’t find a text tool that will produce (...) The new 2.1.4 Version of pbForth has a minor fix that affected programmers using the MARKER word. I recommend you get the new 2.1.2 GUI while you're at it because it is less agressive in stripping comments when uploading scripts. This was causing (...) I have worked on many real-world carousel assembly machines, including one that assembles 35mm film casettes and one for firearm cartridges. You sure have captured the appearance of a (...) Really great construction, very cool movie (but with one colored marble the cycle would have been easier to follow...) ...and you built that in only 3 1/2 h ???? (...) Well, I reinstalled Windows XP and then installed RIS 2.0 and NQC/BRICXCC and everything worked like a dream. I have no idea why it wouldn't work before (did everything the same). Strange that it would work in RIS 2.0 but not in NQC or (...) (23 years ago, 24-May-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Whoa! Great piece of work, Iain. Nobody does this better than you. You are the marble king! The movie shows a very smooth operation. I don't see any "flying marbles". (...) Why not allow all 4? 1. Have a build option that the variable is set to by default; 2. An option on firmdl3 over-rides this if required; 3. An option on dll over-rides this if required; 4. At first, it seems logical that firmdl3 would be the best place to make the change. However, it was very easy to allow the Host ID to be changed at runtime. Whether changed by a user program or changed via the RCX buttons/lcd, it is easy enough to (...) (23 years ago, 24-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
