  Re: rcx power circuit

(...) FYI - I ran my RCX1.0 for a while with a 12V DC adapter. The RCX has "9-12V" printed above the plug. One day I thought I check my DC adapter and found it was actually putting out 18V! Needless to say I stopped using it, but I had been running (...) (24 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: rcx 2.0 without power plug !?

(...) One of the changes to RIS 2.0 is the removal of the AC power jack. (...) Does the RCX in RIS 1.5 have a power adapter? I don't a RIS 1.5 yet (getting one tomorrow!).   Re: NQC, Mac OS X, and the USB IR Tower.

Dave, I did have the driver installed in OS 9. I shut down the classic environment, and repeated my test. The program downloaded 100% of the time! I haven't tried deleting the USB IR Tower driver preference file from the OS 9 system yet. I was using (...) (24 years ago, 6-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Rotation sensor woes

(...) I have three of these things and they all work flawlessly. You should be able (for example) to thread the rotation sensor onto the output of a standard Lego Mindstorms motor and tie the two together with a single 4x4 plate that would straddle (...)
