Dave,
I did have the driver installed in OS 9. I shut down the classic
environment, and repeated my test. The program downloaded 100% of the time!
I haven't tried deleting the USB IR Tower driver preference file from the
OS 9 system yet.
I was using the alpha version of MacNQC 3.0. It includes USB support. As
I said the pattern of errors was about the same as the command line compiler
- successful download about 15-20% of the time. This error has also stopped
occurring now that classic is shut down, of course.
