Here's some notes on the largest (?) LEGO set ever: 3450 Statue of Liberty. Like the 3723 Minifig Sculpture, the 3450 comes in a large white box with a small b&w photo of the statue, a planet earth with basic bricks revolving around it on the front (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)

Just thought I'd drop in a few comments of my own, having grabbed a couple of Life on Mars sets from the local TRU. Cute. This set is so cute, and has so many cool pieces in cool colours -- I want 50. An entire army of Altairs. heh heh. This was a very fun set to construct, play with and look at. I've built a bunch of the 2001 sets, I've got all but the largest sets in these two themes (7317 was not to be found in my local stores and since I don't have a USB port, I will be waiting to buy 1349 until I can get it on sale). Shell has a set of 3 different buildings, 1254, 1255, and 1256 available at their stations. These sets are reasonably priced and come chock full of great town pieces.
