Just thought I'd drop in a few comments of my own, having grabbed a couple of Life on Mars sets from the local TRU. Cute. This set is so cute, and has so many cool pieces in cool colours -- I want 50. An entire army of Altairs. heh heh. This was a very fun set to construct, play with and look at. I've built a bunch of the 2001 sets, I've got all but the largest sets in these two themes (7317 was not to be found in my local stores and since I don't have a USB port, I will be waiting to buy 1349 until I can get it on sale). #7312 -- Looks pretty good, fair price for the element count. I think the new blue color is only okay. I am not sure about TLC experimenting in new colors before we get some of the elements we have been seeking in the same old colors. I don't see (...) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)

Shell has a set of 3 different buildings, 1254, 1255, and 1256 available at their stations. These sets are reasonably priced and come chock full of great town pieces. You can get these sets at any Shell station with a $10 fill-up (at least in (...) (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.reviews)
