This thing weighs a good 15-20lb, and took me over 36 hours to build. so
enjoy. Inspiration came from the Wild Karrde and a Shoebox. Enjoy.

Rick & All, (...) Wow, that is really an impressive ship, Rick. It definitely has the industrial look to it. Good job, and I look forward to seeing it in person. Scott S. -- (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

A shoebox never looked so good! Seriously, I haven't built a non-Star Wars Lego ship, not to mention an original creation, in years and years, but your ship reminds me why it is a worthwhile pursuit. FANTASTIC in look and interior detail! I think (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Now THAT's a bruiser! Really a wonderful job Rick. I especially like how you've incorporated the swing panel design of the Republic Gunship into the airlock port...it gives it that armoured, secured feel. The interior is very efficient and (...) Now that's ugly. In a square greelbie kinda way. The gaps are cool. You'l see my version of a greeblie-gap soon (Amazing how two people can do pretty much the same thing at the same time without either knowing...). PS I wanna see the docking (...) Nice ship! I especially like the hatch on the scout ship, and the bunks. It seems simple yet I haven't seen anyone else do that before. Overall, (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) Rick, Thank goodness for shoeboxes. I love the interior details, and the exterior look. The Keep Out sign was a real nice touch. Thanks, George (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) It is a nice space craft, especially the interior. I had managed to build a LEGO space craft over twice as big, in terms of length, as your space craft, though, but due to a lack of parts, I was not able to give it much of an interior or much (...)
