  Re: Digital Camera

See also: (URL) has a reply by me extolling my 800 (...) I have an 800 and like it a lot. The only thing I miss from my older camera (now defunct) is the swivel feature. I believe the 950 has more additional features than just the swivel, though. I (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Bullet Train

(...) FUT .publish I like it. I got the 800 and I perhaps didn't get the very best deal, it cost me 525 after rebate but I spent another 100 for a 32M memory card and 30 or so on rechargable batteries. I like the features on it, the resolution, and (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.publish)

Re: Lego bricks featured in Baby Blues Comics!

The second link is my son for sure. If I build it then he feels it's ok to smash it, but its a car he built then no harm better "ever" fall upon it. jt -- James J.   Lego bricks featured in Baby Blues Comics!

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but the Baby Blues comic strip has been featuring Legos in the strip for the past few days. The mom built an aircraft carrier and the little boy built cars and stuff. Here are the two strips printed so far: (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general)

  Re: Digital Camera: Which one?

(...) Hi! Jeff did a great job. There have been some exciting reviews reviewed on www.macintouch.com lately. Last August an Olympus 490 review came up very Mac- friendly, (URL) one is in your price range. I gather that site has a lot of other (...) (25 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: Digital Camera: Which one?

(...) Wow. We need an FAQ for this. 8) OK, here is my advice: 1) Don't buy a camera you haven't used in the flesh. This is the most important piece, because there really is no substitute for trying it out, to get the feel of the interface and the (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Digital Camera: Which one?

I am interested in buying a digital camera & know nothing about them. I do know what I want though, as in results. I have a MAC performer 6400 & a MAC G4, either/or would be used with the camera. I am looking to post pictures (obviously) on (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.publish)

RE: Fully motorized sports car - photography

(...) Thanks! (...) I don't have much experience with photography, so basically, I played with the settings on my camera (Nikon Coolpix 990 - a fully automatic *and* fully manual 3.34 megapixel digital camara.) Since I was just taking pictures on my (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.publish)

  Best cheap camera?

Does anyone have any experience with really cheap digital cameras? I mean *REALLY* cheap, like $100 or so. How effective are they for photographing LEGO? What about closeups? I'm saving up for a Nikon D-1 for some other photography work (and so that (...) (25 years ago, 20-Dec-00, to lugnet.publish)
