Narrow boat hull middle —Chris Yoder
Hello, it's me, your friendly Dread Pirate Clangador again. =) I have several ships I've built over the past couple weeks that I've not taken pics of yet. I hope to do that soon and post them. I just have a comment. Do you know how rare the small (...) (20 years ago, 18-May-04, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) hi chris, i wish i wouldve known you would be after these, i had a narrow hull set that i just recently sold. it only had one center piece, but one is better than none you know;-). sorry! anyway, i suggest (again) ebay. run a search under (...)      (...) Very rare indeed. They only came in one of the imperial guard sets and the Armada flagship, I believe. What colour are you after? I'd imagine the white ones are a lot easier to come by on Bricklink (check out aussie sellers; the AF's were on (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Narrow boat hull middle —Richie Dulin
(...) It is a pity there isn't one in dark grey.       (...) Here's my first attempt to build a ship with a center section from bricks. (URL) think it looks okay, but I'm not totally finished with the ship yet, so that could be part of the problem. I see I'm not going to be able to get a grey middle (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

(...) I had totally forgotten, something I have done before also - The ol' (URL) Fido> uses a two-stud wide centre section, and it blends in quite well IMO ,the trick is to get the colours to match smoothly. Perhaps another subject in the mythical (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

(...) You mean like my (URL) Maria> (as in Primo, Duplo and...). Certainly pretty crude by today's Golden Age of .pirates standards. (...) You've certainly carved out quite a niche in the galleon era! Adieu Richie Dulin (URL) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Re: Narrow boat hull middle —Daniel Yuhas
(...) Three of my four ships that have hull sections have center sections made out of bricks. Inverted slope pieces to be exact. I put them under the plate on two of my ships, and another, The Freedom has the plate very close to the bottom, and it (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)
