Re: Pirate Game to be held during Christmas School Break

Just noticed that organization did not show on posting, so "in the area" is pretty meaningless. "in the area" is Central Arkansas. Our LTC club house is in Jacksonville and we will be playing on the floor in the main room. Sorry for any confusion. (...) (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.pirates)

Pirate Game to be held during Christmas School Break

Anyone in the area and interested in play the Pirate Game drop me a line. Matthew Greene (mgreene@jamesgreeneinsurance or hrcpins4us@aol.com). We are planning two games, one for kids and one for big kids. The kids game is set for Friday Dec. 27th (...) (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: New 2003 Belville Sets

Pink! Pink and Purple! You can tell which aisles are for girls at the toy store: just look for pink and purple (or the romance section at the book store). The horror... Okay, so, maybe Belville has some useful stuff, but at best I'll go to (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-02, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.year.2003)

Pirate folks, read on, you'll see why... Having finally had a chance a week or so ago to see these pictures... (...) The snail looks neat and I also like those toadstool 4x4 radar dishes.   10040 Black Sea Baracuda

Wahooo!!! I finally got my lego 10040 Black Sea Baracuda (re-release). I have been wishing to be able to get the original set (6285) back in 1989, but I was not able to afford it back then. This set is really amazing. It took me about +-6 hours to (...) (22 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Old Pirate's House

(...) They look good. I think there's a certain art to building burp-esque landscapes from bricks, and you've definitely achieved it. Cheers Richie (22 years ago, 17-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.loc.au)

  Old Pirate's House

This is just an experiment in building houses etc with separate segments resting on tiles (as opposed to having the back of the building open). I also wanted to see how far my green bricks would go (sadly, only a little bit further than this!). (...) (22 years ago, 17-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Selling advice

(...) I would sell them individually. Smaller, more compact lots usually fetch higher bids on ebay, wheras larger, more expensive lots might turn away bidders due to the fact some people are on a budget, and hence, can only afford so much to (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Selling advice

How would you sell these? (URL) it is 2x 6274 and 2x 6276) As a complete lot, or as individual sets? Conventional wisdom says individual sets would probably fetch a greater total price. However, I wondered whether the attraction of being able to get (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Cutter Sails Scan Available

Hi all, I've posted a scan of the sails off of the small ship from Lego Pirate set "Imperial Trading Post" on Brickshelf! The scan was done with a graph paper background so you can get the exact size. The graph paper is divided into 10 squares per (...) (22 years ago, 4-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Trading Post Cutter Sails?

If you mean that they are not lined up equally from the sides and top/bottom, then you are probably right. I've found that most of the lego sails are not (...)   Re: Trading Post Cutter Sails?

Hi Tom Thanks again for the scans. (...) I noticed that the colours on the sail motif are printed a little of. Is this normal on these sails? I may try to paint my sail motifs by hand. Has anyone tried printing onto sails? It's mentioned on Evil (...) (22 years ago, 4-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)
