(...) go to (URL) member number> and click on "edit profile". at the very bottom, you will see how much you said you'll pay, and how much LUGNET got. Dan (22 years ago, 11-Mar-02, to lugnet.people)

  Re: Lugnet's tailspin

You are right Chris a higher membership fee would probably help Lugnet in someway. And I would be more than happy to pay. The enjoyment i get from LUGNET is definately worth it.. However some of our members are still teenagers and they might not be (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.people)

(...) I wonder what the subscription fee would be if we wanted to pay somebody to run this show FT? What would the "going rate" be if an individual from the USA was employed? I really doubt 1500*$25 ($37500) would be enough? Scott A =+= Have you (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-02, to lugnet.people)

  Re: Lugnet's tailspin

(...) Hmmm...you've got a point there...I guess It's an issue of both of the topics above, one being 'how many members would remain', and the other being the 'membership price'. I don't think an annual fee would be bad. I could easily afford $25 a (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.people)

  Useful URL!

(...) Dunno, but I sent something. Just to feel like I'm giving *something* back. Thanks for the URL--I didn't know it was there! Now, if only I could find a job that paid more than $15K... ...and for the record, I'd ante up $25 a year, even living (...) (22 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.people)

  how much is enough?

(...) well, first of all, some of that $ would go to server costs. but you could pay a number of 'volunteers' the equiv of part-time pay above and beyond their day-jobs. 1) you get better results from the 'employee' (or they get fired) 2) you get (...) (22 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.people)
