Article about Quatro, Duplo and System bricks compatibility

Hi, Thanks to khan and rob for the translation into English of my article on FreeLUG website : (URL) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.quatro, lugnet.duplo, lugnet.people.parents)

  Homeworld MOC

But I don't think this goes into Announce, proud as I am of it. I've created the first of what I hope to be a massive series of Lego ships for the PC (and Linux, kinda *) game Homeworld. This ship is based on a simple little Mini I built. Here is (...) (20 years ago, 12-Mar-05, to lugnet.people.teens, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) And what better place to cool off ;-) Oh, he's getting used to the weather (temp 31 deg C). Attired in T-shirt, shorts and sandals he's better dressed than us locals. He's getting quite adept with a pair of chopsticks, refusing to use fork and (...) (20 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.people, lugnet.loc.sg, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)

I'd like to share something cool that happend. So I'm just going to write: I was invited to place a robot at a local club called: l.i.t.m. (...) Thanks everyone for your comments and best wishes! It's great to introduce a new LEGO fan :-) (Henry is only a week old, and he probably doesn't realize yet that he's a die-hard fan of the brick). Ok, I'll try not to brainwash the kid. At (...) (20 years ago, 6-Mar-05, to lugnet.people)

  Re: In support of Larry

Are you saying that I: a) have "had more spats with more people than anyone else on LUGNET?" b) have shown a "willingness to flout the rules"? and c) have caused trouble on bricklink? ...or are you just attacking me rather than answering the (...)   Re: In support of Larry

(...) Look at it from the realistic side. The more exposure you have, the more chances something you wrote will upset someone else. Ever since I joined the community, Larry has consistantly been the most active participant here on Lugnet. This and (...) (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.people)

  Re: In support of Larry

(...) I can agree with you that the level of communication has been rather low. In fact I'm almost getting withdrawal symptoms, as the 'signal-to-fight' ratio has gone so low.   In support of Larry

I'm ashamed of all the Larry-bashing that's been taking place. If you've only interacted with the man online (which I believe is the case with some of his harshest critics), you have no perspective on who he really is. Hence, you're really not (...)
