Y’ever get tired of creating a subject title? Well I did… so I, as Prince did before me, choose a symbol…it’s a fish by-the-way! ~Now Back on TOPIC: (URL) dude, that’s quite the swingin’ pad you’ve got there. The whole light-rope and wicked balcony (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.people, lugnet.general)

Re: Reading and posting with outlook

(...) Nope, the web interface is the only way to avoid the confirmation e-mails. There have been several discussion on this topic ever since the system was put into place, and they all boil down to the fact that only the web offers a good reliable (...)   Reading and posting with outlook

Hi. Just joined Lugnet a bit ago. I think I can finally post now :) The only thing is, is there anyway to post using outlook without e-mail verification besides the web interface? I appreciate all the work Todd put into the site to keep spam and (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.people.newbie)

  Andy Boetcher, where are you?

Hi all, Has anybody had any contact recently with Andy Boetcher? I have an order for him that he paid for. I need a shipping address but he doesn't respond to my emails. The latest BrickLink feedback for or by him is from the middle of May. I posted (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jul-02, to lugnet.people, lugnet.general)

Re: I'll be back when LUGNET has less flame. I've had enough.

(...) Speaking as one of the guilty parties here, I don't think the majority of us meant to hurt anyone's feelings or fan any sort of flame war. If it makes you feel any better, I probably feel worse having participated with what I thought was an (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-02, to lugnet.people)

Re: I'll be back when LUGNET has less flame. I've had enough.

(...) Hmm, I think there are many hobbies which are generally respected: - mainstream sports (as a fan or player - golf, baseball,[American] football, hockey, tennis, swimming, running, diving) - hiking and camping - sewing, needlepoint, knitting, (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-02, to lugnet.people)

(...) What counts? I'm in kind of a trough of reading LUGNET right now -- mostly sticking to .o-t.debate, my local groups, and .market.shopping, but I just don't see all the pain. Lots of folks tell us that .debate is among the vilest of the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jul-02, to lugnet.people)

Re: I'll be back when LUGNET has less flame. I've had enough.

(...) The deal is that when I started on Lugnet some 2.5 years ago, the flamewars were fewer and shorter. I'm not sure of all the reasons for what we're seeing, but I think it is a symptom of something real. Some things to think about: - The (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jul-02, to lugnet.people)

I'll be back when LUGNET has less flame. I've had enough.

To the LUGNET community, This is going to be my last time posting here on LUGNET until I feel that this place becomes worth the effort. The constant flaming, bickering, and attitudes of some posts do not reflect what I come here for. The feeling I (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jul-02, to lugnet.people)
