That's no excuse (was Re: How to get link pages made)

(...) This is the just latest example of this issue, and I hope Eric doesn't think I'm picking on him specifically, but I've been wanting to comment on this for some time now: Why do people insist that being tired, or even that the hour is late, is (...) (23 years ago, 8-May-02, to lugnet.people)

  Re: Sharing Good News

(...) We'll all certainly take that as a collective compliment! (...) Toot away! You DO know that most of us here would have bet LEGO you were going to get the Fulbright. Congrats!   Ack. Is that what a Dark Ages feels like?

Wow, am I out of the loop. :) A whole bunch of factors (including a new baby) have conspired to keep me either interested in other things, or too busy for Lego, but that's slowly fixing itself. I dusted off and worked on Davinskeep for the first (...) (23 years ago, 7-May-02, to lugnet.people)

  Wanted: Chris Churchill.

Hi all, Fred from Germany here. I'm looking for the builder who made this: (URL) could write an illustrated article for a model newspaper in Hungary like I do these days for my Space Factory ((URL) anybody know how to contact Mr. Churchill, perhaps (...) (23 years ago, 6-May-02, to lugnet.people)

Re: Parents and legos (was Re: A few questions...)

(...) Oooh... Found this one here: (URL) thx Nate! Taken from context: (i)It's my money, I can do what I want with it. If your parents argue with that, mention something under your breath like, "Ok, but then I'll have all this extra money that could (...) (23 years ago, 30-Apr-02, to lugnet.people)

Re: Parents and legos (was Re: A few questions...)

(...) Actually, that one won't work. Your parents will connect the dots, and assume that if you keep on with the legos, you'll end up as one of the crazy loons. Steve 'not *quite* 40' Bliss (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.people)

Parents and legos (was Re: A few questions...)

I am home-schooled and my parents nourish Lego as a hobby. Instead of spending free time playing video games, watching tv or on the computer (hmm, scratch that, spending time on the computer doing non-lego things. ), I build with legos. They enjoy (...) (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.people)

  Re: A few questions...

(...) I used 'em for school projects whenever possible. In the 6th grade I made a "house of the future" for a school project. In 11th grade I made a mechanical car model for math class and calculated gear ratios, distance travelled, and the sine (...) (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.people)

  Re: §Infer Monkeys for Parrots!§

(...) Excellent, We move into action upon daybreak! (I've already been in conversation with B 1 & B 2... They want in on our campaign. They appear to have a personal vendetta against these foul feces throwers.) (URL) Let the liberation begin, (...) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-02, to lugnet.people, lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: §Infer Monkeys for Parrots!§

mo's treatise on monkeys: Monkeys are evil to their very brown cores. Monkeys can do everything we can do, but better (they're just lazy, is all). It would not surprise me to learn that at least one monkey is sitting on the LEGO Company's board of (...) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-02, to lugnet.people, lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.starwars)

  §Infer Monkeys for Parrots!§

~Infer Monkeys for Parrots! (My Gawd, we’re the same person?) {see comments within…} (URL) see comments below..} (...) What kinda sick *monkey fetish* do we share?   Re: What's going on in the LEGO world?

(...) Oh, I was going to mention the actual load. The actual weight of all my stuff was about 12,500 pounds. (...) I've only got a small amount of clone stuff (compared to the rest of my collection). I really haven't done anything with it though. (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.people, lugnet.general)

Re: What's going on in the LEGO world?

Yikes! My lego stuff is probably very much like your own, mass-wise. I don't really want to think about it any more than that though... Admittedly, some is not Lego proper, but I think you have the same clone thing going, right? -- Hop-Frog (23 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.people, lugnet.general)

(...) Man, do I ever feel despondent… I've been here for over 2 years and I'm still second-string to the ‘other’ Richard… (no matter how much he likes me) ;) ~After all, we’ve got two totally different signatures: Mr. Marchetti has the clever, (...) Thank you for your replies! I had no idea Hugo was missed that much... Your replies made me want to go building right away. :) John Kruer wanted to know my age: I'm 17 years old.
