Well, I prefer painting myself; but several people I know swear by printable decals. I beleive they use the same waterslide decals that modelers use for cars and airplanes. (...) Do you have an airbrush? You may have to mix your own using model paints. In fact I'd recomend this for a better surface. Even hand painting may be preferable. I used to build alot of models. (...) Not impossible, but definitely too tough for even the likes of me. Consider this though: put the acetate inside the brick and then you would not have a smooth face on the outside.
