  Re: Sample SMART "Maxi-challenges"

I'm not sure if the tight rope challenge is possible. The "rope" would need to be extremely tight, just like the ones that circus performers use, so there is very little deflection. The warehouse challenge for the brickheap wars would be a good (...) (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  November 16th SMART Meeting

Just a reminder that the November SMART meeting will be on the 16th of the month, at 2pm in the Redmond library, room 2. Our mini-challenge will be Slope Traversal: Given an eight-foot long 2x8 resting against a chair or table, build a robot that (...) (22 years ago, 31-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  Sample SMART "Maxi-challenges"

Here are a few maxi-challenge examples. The details need to be worked out, these are merely starting points. I would very much like to hear other ideas, as well as discussion on these ideas. An example that I mentioned when describing these (...) (22 years ago, 23-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

  SMART "Maxi-challenges"

The first new type of challenge was the "BrickHeap Wars" that we did last meeting. I trust (...) (22 years ago, 21-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: LegWay (Re: R: WS3D RCX Challenge #5 Results)

The EOPD sensors I used are the same as IRPDs, except they use red LEDs instead of infra-red LEDs. I was using some proto-types, but I'm told they will be available from their web site on November 1st ----- Original Message ----- From: "LJ Liberto" (...)   LegWay (Re: R: WS3D RCX Challenge #5 Results)

(...) I'm working on a web page to show it off. Right now, I'm a little short on pictures, because I spent all last week getting a couple robots ready for the Workshop 3D Challenge. Here's a glimps of what it looks like: (URL) make a post in a (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.org.us.smart)

(...) I should also have added a thank you to Ray for holding this competition, and the other sponsors for the venue, and prizes, etc. We appreciate all the work that goes into putting something like this on.
