Sadly, I don't have a dolphin.  Or a manta ray, which I would have liked.  My sealife is limited to seaweed, a shark, and two clams (sounds like a joke - "some seaweed, a shark, and two clams walk into a bar ..."). Besides, if it were a dolphin, how (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Nice job on the car.  I really liked the attention to detail.  ie the fish and air tank under neither.  One Suggestion though, could you use a dolphin instead of a shark? I remember lego making one, but I don't remember where. Jonathan Dallas ---- (...) (24 years ago, 26-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Train Show Goodies

Hi All, I finally got around to taking some pictures of the aquarium tank car, and finishing up the BR52 Steam Locomotive that I've been obsessing over for the past couple of weeks. You can read the posts on them at: (URL) hop right to the pics at (...) (24 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

In lugnet.org.us.nelug,Freight Freitas writes: I'll bring the 2 engines from my bullet train on Friday as a test, because they are 18 inches long, and the noses protrude quite a bit which can, as you might have guessed, cause alot of destruction!!! (...) I'm pretty sure I have 8 in light grey from <set:8842 8842 Go-Cart> which I wouldn't mind lending out... Just have to see how easy it is to get those old style tires off of 'em :) DaveE (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Seeking help w/ part for trainshow ....

Hi all, My 1930s BR52 German steam engine is coming along nicely (some of you got a chance to see version 1.0 at Brikwars last weekend - it's been completely scrapped and redone on a larger scale). Anyway, here's the crux of the matter: I need 10, (...) (24 years ago, 23-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Factory building

(...) That's okay, most of them will be empty. I'll just have one or two that are open. (...) Hadn't thought too much about putting the a 'lego' brick on the building. I think a 1x2 with the name lego on it would work near the door. I think I have (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

I don't think you can cram 3x4 studs worth of brick into them, though- that's an external measure. I meant to mention before, I (...) (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) What about the actual LEGO minifig crate? It's the top left-hand element in this parts pack: (URL) got quite a few of them, probably enough to convincingly fill a loading dock. eric (24 years ago, 22-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
