Some of the initial information about Brikfest 2001 is now available at www.brickfest.com - basically, it's July 12-15 in Arlington, VA. Is anybody from NELUG thinking of/planning on going? I have struggled and struggled to do these in 6 wide but the center articulation has always got the best of me (I was trying to do something rotational, you took a sliding approach, which, while not (...) I visited FAO a few weeks ago to look for this model. (we had been discussing Boston landmarks a while back) Sure enough, the model I remembered was still there by the escalator and is of The Old North Church. The model only represents a front (...) (...) It is a starting point but I think 4 wide is just a bit to wide. I think it is possible to do something similar 3 wide using a 1x2 tile with center stud between the 2 thin walls. Does anybody know of any LEGO phone booth designs? I recall there being at least one in the big LEGO book, but I was goingto solicit some other ideas as well.
