DOH, I made a boo boo, there is a 98% chance that I will miss this. My father
goes in for hand surgery on Tues and I told him I who go home for a few days
and take care of some yard work while his down and out. On the other hand, I
have total faith on what you guys can muster for conversion and what should be
accomplished. Kevin and I spent some time discussing things so he knows more or
less where I stand. I think the main goal is to get a generic layout planned as
well as the table size. I've been busy with more things then expected however I
think the best route is a simple 4x4 table with support and simple Folding Legs
If we keep to that all the hieghts would be the same. while I am home I will
see about getting a price on bulk folding legs and report back. Let me know I
will have computer access while I am home so I will try and keep on the top of
things

Just to go further into table detail the plan uses a 4ft x4 ft sheet 1/2inch
thick of OSB with a outer support with a 2x3 molding mitred at the corners.

For support underneath for legs (Folding and support two parallel 1x3 pine
strips.)

Thanks for reminding us all.
I have spoken by phone to Peter Jarvis and emailed him the driving directions.
Unless either of us have last minute conflicts, we will both be there.  I will
plan for arriving around 12 noon.

Dunno what I will bring, but it won't be as much as I brought to the March
meeting in Cortland.  I will let others bring 9volt track but may bring a few
road plates so we can see what affect they have on a layout (use up too much
real estate in my opinion).

Hey All,
The 25th is fast approaching, so I figured I'd post.  The meeting's going to
have to be at my house, as the church a) needs groups to have insurance just
as the mall does and b) is already taken on the 25th.  Anyways, here's
directions to my house:

2589 Gardner Rd.
Pompey, NY 13063

From 81:
Exit 15 at LaFayette
Head East on Rt-20 (about 7 miles)
Go through Pompey, past the blinking traffic light
Turn Right onto Cemetery Rd.
Go down the hill, take your first left (halfway down)
The house is about 1/2 mile on the left, mailbox is on the right.

From points east:
Take Rt-20 West Through Pompey Center
Go over one hill, into your second dip
Turn Left onto Gardner Rd. halfway up the next hill
The house is about 3/4 mile on the right, mailbox is on the left.

My phone number is 677-9743 in case you get lost

I was figuring we could meet around noon.  We've got some floor space for
test layouts if you'd like to bring your baseplates and track.  Other than
that, I think we're planning on a brainstorming session as per your
descriptions Wayne.  Anyways, hope to see as many of you as possible there.
