  Re: tomorrow's meeting

I'll be there tomorrow. Are you getting calls from the media Eric? That's great. I showed your desk pictures to my VP at work, the thought it was pretty cool, but still didn't understand why I was driving to Alabama to talk about LEGO...some people (...)   Re: DixieLUG site content (Re: list of members?...)

I, personally, am not keen on 'membership' but certainly wouldn't mind seeing a list of people who have attended DixieLUG meetings (there's a fine line of distinction, there, I know, but an important one to me). eric (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug)

DixieLUG site content (Re: list of members?...)

Franklin, What an excellent idea. In fact, that was my original plan. I just haven't gotten a big enough 'round tuit yet. However, I've been stewing over some ideas the last couple of weeks, so I'm planning a little midnight activity this weekend to (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug)

  list of members?...

Howdy, y'all, I was just thinking that it might be a good idea to have a list of all our members and their personal Lego pages on the DixieLUG site ("(URL) That being said, here's the URL for my Lego page: "(URL) Thanks, Franklin ===== Franklin Cain (...)   Re: next meeting

Franklin, I recently acquired a used LEGO collection that had a "mish-mash" of mini figs from various themes and sets (about 30 or so in various states of use). If you're interested in any of them I'm willing to trade them fig for fig, being a train (...) (24 years ago, 14-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug)

next meeting - SOMEONE BRING A CAMERA !!!

I've already got an account set up in Kevin Loch's Brickshelf's Gallery just for DixieLUG, and, if someone has a *digital* cammera at the next meeting, and if our host lets us borrow his computer, we could theoretically upload the pictures right (...)   Re: new "icon" for dixielug gallery account

(...) OK, I went ahead and uploaded this new version as the icon. [GEEK] What I did to make it look OK is I used what's called a "dithered" color, a blend between two colors, because the solid brown looked unrecognizable, it was so dark that you (...)   Re: new "icon" for dixielug gallery account

(...) In fact, this is sort of what it looks like: "(URL) changed the hat's color to better illustrate my point; if I'd lieft it brown, it would've been even more ugly.) Franklin (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug)

Re: new "icon" for dixielug gallery account

(...) Trust me, you don't want me to do that. The data file I created was pretty good, up to the point I did the brim. Viewed from "head on", it looks OK. Viewed from the side (as it would be if I twisted it 90 degrees for Bubba), it doesn't look so (...) (24 years ago, 13-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.us.dixielug)
