  Alternatives for 3T... 4T?

I don't know where this person got the idea from, but it looks nicely implemented. I've been playing around with a 4T version of mine (as well as 4x4 checkers, or chess, or something like 3 Man's Morris), but haven't gotten beyond defining a 4x4 (...)   GBC siding control - status

I built quite a nice sensor, neatly landscaped into a small rocky roadcut... and then realized it would require two RCX inputs, which I didn't consider acceptable. So I thought about it and rebuilt, but didn't "pretty it up" yet. However, it works. (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

I've had four people ask about a wider line, including two that were concerned that if the line wasn't really 3/4" wide, their light sensors wouldn't be able to track the line properly. In fact, the "3/4-inch" tape is just a bit under 3/4", so I'm (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

Last reminder about Saturday's meeting (2pm, Digipen; mini-challenge is there-and-back-again drag racing). Has anyone built a GBC (Great Ball Contraption) module that they could bring to the meeting? I'd like to have one or more to demonstrate what (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Spare Room tm - an extra room for your moonbase visitors

I thought I'd give you all someting to look at while I finish the images for the moonbase. This was inspired by the MOC of a trailer park "dorm room" I found on Brickshelf. I just expanded it out a bit. I wonder if this is the smallest module out (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jan-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.lucny)

(...) My-Life: update... The CD itself says "GPS Bluetooth V1.1". There is nothing in any of the programs to suggest a manufacturer. I can't get any of the programs that came with it to work. They all come up, and appear to function, but don't read (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Bluetooth GPS

Steve, Have you popped in the CD that came with it? Maybe something in there will at least give us a shot at figuring out what GPS chipset it is using. I'd be interested in knowing the specs for it. John (20 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

I thought the ascii-art would be understandable, but I've made a picture with the dimensions and starting configuration for the drag-racing arena that you can find here: (URL) that helps. Don't worry too much about the details. You can even bring (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Hi Ben, Looking forward to hearing about CES. I'm not sure if you got David post before or after you made your post. I just saw your post even though it looks like it was time-stamped a few days ago. Not sure what's going on. Anyway, here is my (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

Re: January 28th, 2006 SMART Meeting

I could use some clarification on the track material and layout. I've been using the paper track that comes with the mindstorm kit to practice and just realized the line is 1" wide. It sounds like you are going to use a 3/4" line instead. Is this (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.us.smart)

(...) I'm interested in a BlueTooth GPS as well. If you don't want it, you can send it my way. Since you didn't order it. (...) One week left to build your most amazing drag racing robots! I've had a couple of questions about the arena and event which I'll answer here.
