Re: Logo's Fliers and papers and CONTACT

(...) Got it. Thanks. I'll work on it. (...) I'd recommend not having a street address. A post office box would be OK, however. A phone number is slightly less intrusive than a street address, especially a mobile one, since it's harder to track. (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

(...) By the time it gets to your mountain, the monorail track has jumped up another level and is at 22 bricks above ground level. You can just barely see on the .jpg or .gif file (I recommend printing the latest version out as big as you can get it (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

(...) Yes you're right - I just downloaded the latest jpg of the layout. I will start building on Monday! (This is gonna be fun...) (...) Oh yeah... the monorail track will be 12 bricks off the ground? What about the train track in the mountain (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

(...) The layout pictures are pretty accurate as to where the track goes. But if you make your ledge for the track, a couple studs wider then the actual track, then we'll have some wiggle room. I'm having the same interesting time with the double (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Proposed building areas - land grab time!!

(...) I've written to Robin privately, asking where he lives. Hopefully he can lend me a few pieces of track so I can see how to fit them in (I've never seen a piece of track in person!). Also, how will I know WHERE to put the track? (i.e. top of (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Lego Studio Steven Spielberg Moviemaker set Review

My first impressions of the (1349) Lego Studio Steven Spielberg Moviemaker set. (As of this date there is no Newsgroup for this type of set. Cross posted to lugnet.robotics.vc) Purchased at Toys R Us for $250 Canadian. First, let me say that I used (...)   Re: Money - budget for train show stuff - sponsorship

(...) That sounds good to me. Kevin (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Money - budget for train show stuff - sponsorship

(...) I made a suggestion a while back that we have a freestanding display panel behind us (eg a 4x8 sheet of pegboard on a simple frame of 1x2's with plywood triangle "feet" to make it stand up). This would give us somehere to display signs, Lego (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Dean and I will aquire the fabric as we have wanted to do so for a while. We've no problem paying for this and retaining the fabric as ours but using it for the club as well. This should bring the communal cost down a tad. Unless the club wants its (...) (24 years ago, 29-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: VLC Sign

An interim sign would be a good idea until we are firm on a logo. Robin, I agree you should be reimbursed for your supplies. Basic foamcore is available at Staples or Office Depot for relatively cheap. I'd offer to get some but my hands are (...) (24 years ago, 29-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)
