I just went through all my road plates and stuck labels on the bottom in order to bring them to the meeting, and realised I have very few T and X road junctions. The type of meeting you describe falls under our "Public Events" and not "Member Events". Such a public event would be advertised EVERYWHERE possible to inspire growth and attention. However, the initial group of VLC Members decided to have both (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Mark, The points you raise here might be valid. Still, these clubs (VLC or any other LEGO-oriented clubs) aren't going to put up signs all around town saying "come to our lego club", or actively publishing their meetings.
