  Re: Updated To Do lists

My updated lists include: The "Bricklight" sign now rotates. I re-created the little station that comes with the train crossing minus the control tower. Xan gives me way to much credit... I setup a test track and made a reed sensor that works VERY (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Updated To Do lists

The movie set is almost done. I have a reasonable facsimile of a catering truck. The actors/make up truck is becoming a pain in the butt -- I don't do vehicles well. But it'll get done. The make up trucks are just so boring. The beach is pretty much (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Double Railroad Crossings' Tiles...

(...) Good, we will need them I'm sure. Andrew is doing the double non powered crossings. Unfortunately he has no email... Dean (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Flyers?

(...) If we don't have any we will be bothered by requests for info the entire time. Lesser of two evils... We should send out a NEWS release and see if the cameras want to come and get some shots. Adults and LEGO... That would bring members in I'm (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Thomas?

(...) Also, Kevin, did that 4561 engine survive? Dean (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Thomas?

Kevin, this occurred to us after you left last night. Is Thomas going to make it to this show (the vote was certainly that he should ;-). Robin (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Updated To Do lists

This list is NOT complete. It doesn't cover all the arrangements that some of you have made with each other, and probably leaves out other things, but hopefully will be enough of a reminder for you. Shared responsilibities are listed under each (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Flyers?

We forgot to talk about this last night. Alex and I discussed this over the phone a bit, and we were somewhat undecided about whether or not to have flyers at the show(s), as we did last year. My thoughts are that we probably should, but that they (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Upcoming show dates

Can someone remind me what the dates are of the other shows we've been invited to after the upcoming TTOS one? Have we decided yet which ones we're going to be attending?   Double Railroad Crossings' Tiles...

Hi, I've found 59 light grey 1x8 tiles so far. Could dig up a few more if necessary. If no one else is supplying these, I'd be happy to. (Our layout is gonna rock!) -Bryan (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Emergency VLC meeting.

Argh. Another meeting I can't come to tonight because I didn't know till today (and I promised my g/f I'd take her to the States). Aug 5th... I'll try and remember that (Bryan, can you leave me an icq note during the week of Aug 5th?) Hopefully I (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Micro-Motors

(...) I've got ONE. I'll bring it tonight. -Bryan (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Emergency VLC meeting.

(...) I think you've already guessed, correctly I might add. A shim is just something that slide in between two other things to make it fit, or make a little more snug, or whatever. In our case, boards of varying thicknesses to stick under table (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Micro-Motors

I could use some micro-motors, anyone have any I can borrow? Dean (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Emergency VLC meeting.

(...) Just thought I should clarify, the wood pieces are 1/4" thick. They've been cut into triangles, and each piece covers about the same area as a normal piece of paper. Uh, what are "shims"?? -Bryan (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Never-ending quest for green baseplates...

(...) I have always considered them plates! But yes, I'm talking about the 1 brick height 12 x 24 plates ... er, bricks :-) The bad news is that I was confusing them with the smaller 10 x 20 ones. Turns out I've only got 5 of the ones you're talking (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Emergency VLC meeting.

(...) Bring them tonight. Robin (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: Emergency VLC meeting.

(...) The distance from the floor to the top of table is 29". I've got about six 1/4" pieces of wood that could be used as "shims" I suppose... -Bryan (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: O Scale Decals for CN Trains

(...) Excuse me for butting in but MicroScale makes O Gauge CN decals. They don't sell them on their website but you can find the item number in their catalog and look at their Links section for a dealer. (URL) I have used their Decals for my own (...)
