Hey guys (Derek, JeffVW, Jeremy, DaveK): I'm contemplating a change to my train station module for train6: (URL) thinking of changing the alignment of the tracks to be more traditional.          Re: train6 Layout request —Jeff Van Winden
(...) I think I sugusted my place for the planning session. But there is a catch, I can do Sunday, But I play volleyball at 5:00 pm, Meaning I will need to 'kick' you guys out at about 4:00. If that is ok, then Sunday it is. Jeff VW (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: train6 Layout request —Jeremy Taylor

Re: train6 Layout request —Calum Tsang
(...) Well, if we start around noon, and we get kicked out, I see a trip to Kelseys for dinner :) One thing I think we need to consider is not just plan but profile-ie, how does it look from the side. Do we have enough landscapes etc? Like, how can (...) (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: train6 Layout request —David Koudys
(...) I received a phone call from Frank--the guy form NMRA. He was asking if we wanted to participate in the Christmas layout show on nov 22 weekend.          Re: train6 Layout request —Derek Raycraft
(...) Realistically, I can't have anything more then a module covered in base plates by then. I would most likely be able to be there, but I won't have much to bring. Derek (21 years ago, 14-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: train6 Layout request —Calum Tsang
(...) I think we need to revisit the Hobby Show layout for The Hobby Show as it is...I've got Allan bugging me about what we're doing and I have a suspicion we haven't reached the point of enough coordination to have something there.          Re: train6 Layout request —Allan Bedford
(...) This is true! So you can all thank Chris that I'm a pain in the butt. ;) Seriously though, Chris had some good advice early on that helped get many people involved who might not otherwise have jumped onboard. Allan B. (21 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: train6 Layout request —Chris Magno
(...) so what your saying is that the hobby show is a go, because of me. and by extension, I'm the leader of the hobby show, AND you can further surmise that without ~ME~ the hobby show would cease to be.          Re: train6 Layout request —Allan Bedford
(...) Ummmmmm, yeah. Actually, I seem to remember you saying that the person who initiates an event like this usually ends up being the leader whether they want to or not.       (...) I’m not sure (Chris, correct me if I’m wrong), but, I thought I heard Calum, Jeff, Derek and Dave discussing trains in general and finally coming to the realization that continued involvement in that area was just silly.    (...) I like it Calum!, I think it will allow us to try some layouts that we maynot have been able to do previously, meaning that we do not have to have 3 tracks side by side at any time... we just need a switching pard with the station...
