I TAUGHT him that!!

This is true!

So you can all thank Chris that I'm a pain in the butt.  ;)

Seriously though, Chris had some good advice early on that helped get many
people involved who might not otherwise have jumped onboard.

Allan B.

so what your saying is that the hobby show is a go, because of me.  and by
extension, I'm the leader of the hobby show, AND you can further surmise that
without ~ME~ the hobby show would cease to be.

Ummmmmm, yeah.

Actually, I seem to remember you saying that the person who initiates an event
like this usually ends up being the leader whether they want to or not.  I think
the example you used was some group...... some LEGO group...... I think it was
ltr or rlt or rtl or something like that.  You said you were part of getting
that off the ground and that you had been elected leader, president and all
around good guy.  ;)

So for better or for worse I am now the 'organizer' of the Hobby Show booth, not
exactly what I would call a leader.  I hope to organize interested folks into
joining together to put on the LEGO booth... that is my goal.

If it is important to you though, I would extend to you the offer to be my
mini-me.  Perhaps you could organize the Duplo portion of the booth?

"Chris had some good advice early on that helped."  A.B.

For the record, I was serious.  So like it or not, you really did a good thing
here.  You helped someone... a bunch of someones.  I hope you can live with
that.  :)

Allan B.

Three notes:

1)  If we're yacking about the Hobby Show so much, let's make sure we get the
link to the info page in here from time to time:

http://www.apotome.com/hobbyshow/index.html

2)  I will be unable to post to LUGNET for the next 3 days.  So any Allan
bashing you do will not generate humble responses from me.  Please be gentle.

3)  How is the train layout coming along?
