I think those guys are freaks from some other planet. Clearly they have access to

LOOK, I have a few motors -- much like project X.  (over 8)  and if my robot is
stationary and up against the back wall, having AC is not interference..... if we
discover that it is an issue, then MUCH like the gentleman that we are, we will work
it out.



We could say that if you are having a contest with a robot that does something
like what you describe, then you should disconnect the AC  - OR -  you could
simply lift the cable out of the way if the opposing robot would get tangled.
